Funding
The charity is funded by donations of both food and money from a variety of sources such as local churches, schools, supermarkets, businesses and individuals.
Leadership team
We rely on a team of volunteers from different churches in the town to deliver all our services,
As a registered charity we also have a Board of Trustees, made up of the following individuals:
Chair of Trustees - Sharon Golightly. Sharon has worked in a variety of organisations in Human Resources Management and has been a volunteer with the Easter Team since 2004. She took over as Chair of Trustees in 2017
Vice Chairman and Secretary - Rosemary Benwell. Rosemary worked for many years in education. She is now retired and has been a volunteer with the Easter Team for twenty years.
Treasurer - John Lodemore. John is a member of St Andrew’s Church in Crawley and has been the Easter Team Treasurer since September 2019.
Paul Davies - Paul joined the trustees in 2019. He is a creative design specialist
Rohan Andrew - Rohan is pastor of Kingdom Faith Church, Crawley
Operations
Su Parrish is Operations Manager and safeguarding lead. Su has managed teams in the charity sector for over 20 years and has been with the Easter Team since 2009
Governance
Each year we hold an annual general meeting, and a full set of accounts are prepared and presented at our AGM. Copies of these are available upon request from the treasurer.
The trustees meet regularly and there are a number of sub-committee and other meetings for the volunteers each year.
